The Gateway Lodge - Tulare County

What Zac Clark likes about The Gateway Lodge:
Located on our route to the southeast entrance of Sequoia National Park, this was just what we needed for a hearty breakfast before hitting the trail.The country fried steak was excellent, and everyone raved about the pancakes. What Angela Mucha doesn't like about The Gateway Lodge:
this restaurant ended up being a big let down. the river is gorgeous, but the food is WAY over priced $29 for an impossible burger and fries, $17 for a 6 inch pizza $30+ for ravioli .i’d heard the portions were big to justify these prices but not for what i ordered. i got 6 8 ravioli, and the 6” pizza was the worst i’ve ever had hardly any sauce and cheese, mostly crust, the veggies were clearly cooked on the side ad...
