I was very impressed. Great service. Clean. Good food. It's a busy little spot. Chicken Gyro was on point. Cucumber salad. Indoor and outdoor seating available. If you like Mediterranean, this is a great spot to try out. I'll go back. NE Corner 71st and Yale. View all feedback.
What Jay Schraad (JJ) doesn't like about Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe 71st And Yale:
The building was fairly empty around 230 when we went in. The young man that took the order was not informative at all when asking questions and lacked a personality. The lady that brought our food was quiet but seemed nice. The food was bland not a lot of flavor. I had the lamb sandwich and I was not asked how I wanted it cooked but it was ok. The wife's Grilled Vegetable wrap was good but it was giant chunky strips... View all feedback.
Always yummy, and the service is always over the top We got the Greek salads, and I put the grilled salmon on mine. Delicious! And the lemon chicken orzo soup? Wow. We took the chocolate cake home and OMG!!

The wife's Grilled Vegetable wrap was good but it was giant chunky strips of vegetables so hard to eat and keep together. My son's Chicken Sandwich was good. My daughter's Chicken Salad was very bland and so was the Pasta Salad and Cucumber Tomato Salad. Not a real terrible experience but the 4 of us won't be back. Oh and the tzatziki sauce was good.
The grandson and I stopped in for lunch and tried the house pasta salad. Definitely recommend it.
Four stars only because I thought the portion was a little small, otherwise the food had excellent flavor, I had beef and it melted in my mouth. If you haven't tried it, you might want to. Been twice and I will def go back.
This place has gone downhill. First there were only two other customers so they were not busy at all. However, we had to wait while the cashier finished organizing the counter behind the register. When I asked her what was on the item I was looking at instead of telling me she didn’t say anything and just pointed at the menu on the counter. I would not say she was rude as that would have required her to actually interact with us. I got a lamb gyro and asked for feta. When I got my meal the feta was in a bowl and I had to unwrap and apply it myself. I was given 2 1/2 pita chips and rice to go with it.
