"As a first-timer in Parys I was a little bewildered by the amount of coffee shops and stores to visit, and I was a little dismayed to find most eateries to be either packed to the brim or overpriced. Fortunately, we (family trip) stumbled upon 'Die Koffiekan '. There was ample space available for us, and the pricing and selection of food was definitely tantalizing. So we decided to stay and have lunch. In my photos uploaded with this review is the Lady 's Breakfast (my order and it was really tasty and well-prepared), you will also see the Chicken Schnitzel with Chips and the last picture is the Vetkoek with curry mince. All the food we had I can report was really excellent and I will go as far as to say a visit to 'Die Koffiekan ' is definitely worth the drive from Johannesburg. The lady serving our table (table 6) was very patient, warmhearted and friendly with us and this just further enhanced our visit. Well done staff keep up the good food and service."

"For a fine dine establishment to serve gin on TAP bloedlemoen which has its own unique taste with blue candy floss is such low bowl...... the server Eugene has no idea what he is doing and tried his best.......I paid walk out without tasting the food, I 'm from joburg world traveller and a foodie and I will not be back.
