"My youngest had never been so I had to give him the experience. F R I E N D S had their coffee shop hangout in NYC This is Tupelo's! It's nestled in a part of downtown that until this place moved in was virtually forgotten about after 6pm. However, on the weekends, this place is hopping! A place to hang out with friends, share a dessert and indulge on your favorite hot beverage. My son had the hot cocoa and I had to have a special decaf/ sugar free mocha called the Ken! superb! The decor is inviting, the outside is amazing when the weather is right just check out the alley! He also tried the Peanut Butter Smash a brownie with edible peanut butter cookie dough and Reese's crumbles Oh, and the customer service you'll feel like a regular even if it's your first visit."

"We stumbled The Stables by chance, when another restaurant we wanted didn't serve catfish. We were very happy to discover it because we had a great meal. We both ordered the catfish with fries and the fish and fries were perfectly cooked. The fish had the right amount to crispy while the frits were hot and crispy. The hush puppies and puppies were also good. The service was great and we liked the atmosphere. We could not believe that we have been in Tupelo for almost 3 years and were not in this hidden gem. We will definitely be back to try their burgers and chicken fingers if we cannot order the fish. Give me that! Stables a shot if you don't."
