"We ate here because it was the only place in Symi that did not scream about Seafood to you. Service was very Greek! This ancient hippy type of guy served us without a smile wearing this thick jumper! The place was totally in the shade for most of our stay. The food reminded me of my mums cooking, judge for yourself if that is a good thing! Not long after we arrived huge crowds of people followed, we arrived when it was empty, left when it was packed! Online reviews rank this one of the highest ranking restaurants on the island. It’s clearly much loved, the service was ok and the view was nice. The chicken fillet was as plain as plain can be, but when your a coeliac maybe that’s not a bad thing! Even in the smallest remotest corner it’s entirely possible to eat almost anywhere gluten free."

"If you come to Datça and don't eat this pizza, your holiday will be incomplete! It is a cute place with a high taste experience, with its always smiling team. Murat, the owner of the place, proves that he loves trying new tastes with his different menu. "Unfortunately, the old tavern is outdated. We used to come and be satisfied in the previous years, so we would come again, but this year it was bad in terms of both service, taste and price/performance. Squid and shrimp are probably frozen ready-made products. The prices are the ones you will pay at the few fishermen in Bodrum (700 TL octopus, 400-500 shrimp squid). two stars for the sake of the original cold appetizers."
