The food didn't live up to what the reviews promised. We've been to Crete several times, but we didn't find the cuisine authentic. The service was friendly and helpful, but the food was average. The fries were swimming in onion meat, the pastezia was dry and tasteless. Only dakos and stuffed grape leaves tasted good.
