"Had a terrible reaction to a snack that was served to me. Staff and server knew about my severe allergies and yet I still ingested food that caused a reaction. Stated there were trace amounts of egg in the salmon but I know my body well enough to know this was a full reaction. Borderline epi-pen situation."

"First trip to Ucluelet and found Frankie’s to eat at. The waitress was amazing and running all tables. We order our food. Pork belly was amazing and done perfectly. Order the brisket poutine and it was fabulous. Also the grilled chicken in French fries. Totally out of this world . We loved the fries so much. If we ever make it back we would definitely go back. Worth every penny."

French toast was unique and in a delicious class of its own. Bacon crispy yummy! Service suggestions for waitress Open on time and be ready to receive customers. Take your time when asking customer questions, wait patiently for answers before walking away. Besides that we felt well looked after and you checked back with us at reasonable intervals. "We ate here twice while in Ucluelet. The food was amazing both meals. Major compliments to the kitchen. We ordered both seafood and non seafood items and they were all great. My husband said his bolognese was one of the best he's ever had. The Caesar cocktails were delicious. We visited during the time when hwy 4 was closed due to fires and we are so thankful that this restaurant is still going strong despite the challenges."
