Where do I begin The service was excellent, but the food was even better.

I originally reviewed this restaurant a couple of years ago and gave it three stars.

If you love giant potatoes, over cooked vegetables, "white sauces" and tons of melted cheese, this is your place.

First thoughts were this doesn't look nice and its quiet; however inside iis quaint and charming. Not a 5* restaurant but as far as I am concerned a 5* service...

We wanted something light for dinner. Just soup and a salad. Loved the ambiance of the place and the salad was great. But the chowder tasted like it was straigh...

"This restaurant is incredible. Had a great experience here, all the way from drinks, food and dessert were great and best presentation ever. Highly highly recommend it. I wish they were in Vancouver as well. I wud just drive here for the night just to eat their food again Service: 5 Location: 5"

"We visited there as we arrived to Ukee, the food was delicious and excellent service! Very friendly staff, I had the breakfast poutine my husband had the burrito and my kids hotdogs! Little one has renamed his hotdogs as 'The awesome dog '. We walked out very happy and satisfied! Definitely coming back next visit to Uculet."

"We initially tried to get into Heartwood for dinner but realized they had a private event that evening. We settled on brunch the next day and were not disappointed. The cooks put love into every meal. Of course, we had one standard breakfast delicious and the French toast cooked to perfection. Protip: get the housemade jam. It will change the way you think about jam forever."

"We were there twice for breakfast and it was always full but still it was quick. it has been a joy to see the young people working behind the scenes. everything is prepared with much love. the selection of self-produced feeds is very large. there are not very many seats but we also have standing in or on a wooden bench in front of the local very well fallen. who doesn't mind it is very well served here. we would go back at any time, a fantastic alternative to infallible breakfast buffets in the hotels."
