Hutong Shangri-la Ulaanbaatar

Came for the Roasted Duck and loved it. My friends and I ordered the Roasted Duck set which included three small appetizers, a whole roasted duck with assorted garnishes, a plate of fried rice, a plate of kungpao chicken, and additional lamb salad (I believe). The set also comes with duck bone soup where they use the carved carcasses to bring richness to the soup. The set finishes with a fruit platter. I think the best part about the set was the duck bone soup; so rich and delicious. The waiter was very prompt and helpful. I will definitely check Hutong out again for other menu items!

Solid, authentic Chinese cuisine you can count on! This is as close some restaurants in Beijing you can find. I dined here with a friend and we were just expecting Chinese food adapted to Mongolian taste pallet but how wrong was I! Everything from the cold salads, stir-try to the roast duck was on point! This beats all the so-called Chinese food I've had outside China. If you're craving Beijing style Chinese food in UB, give this place a shot.

The best Chinese in UB. Loved fried mushrooms, glass noodles, fried noodles, eggyolk chicken, tofu. Pork with buns was Ok.
