So I went here based on the recommendations, the food was lovely but nothing to shout about, I have had better, £14.40 for a haddock sarnie is a bit steep Meal...

"This bar, restaurant, bookshop, art gallery … and hotel is so well placed for the ferry to the Outer Hebrides but having stayed there for one night to do just this we will return for a longer break because it was so good. Clean, warm and comfortable room. An upstairs lounger with an honesty bar for drinks (including alcoholic) and lovely sofas and chairs to read in a quiet space away from the bar/restaurant. The bookshop was outstanding. Food great. We were no there alas on a music night but I bet the atmosphere would be terrific. Excellent."
