"German kitchen in this opposite difficult to find how the few have vacations. so escape, italian, there are here as sand at the sea. on the road of longau, on a crossing, opposite the church, is the Italian on which our choice is much. we could not see our own parking spaces, we use one of the free ones in the church. from where we came, we had to overcome 9 flats to get into the locals. the toilets are then grounded there. sevice we were kindly greeted by a man and asked if we had reserved. on our no, he was in the book and brought us to a table. the cards were handed over to us and the time left to look for drinks. after the job he brought a greeting out of the kitchen. she cleared the teller and asked if he tasted. the food was delivered at the same time and we wanted a good appetit. a demand between, whether everything fits, while eating came from the heart, now we sat almost 20 minutes before empty plate and then also glasses until we looked around again. you had to drive around with masters. when we got rid of ourselves, we ordered the bill, we were asked if they liked us and want a grappa or ramazotti. the grappa came fast, the man with the bingomat reads something waiting for him. the trage was called and the device placed on the table. we asked for a document that was not a problem and came immediately. he wished us a nice day and good slip. when we were gone, we were still kindly accepted. the two were both dressed in black, beautiful and friendly, the waiting time before empty tellers don't steal us. eat the printed menu from karton contains the typical Italian dishes, but also something different. for silvester there were two menus photo that do not fit the environment for us. we had an alcohol-free wine of 2,80€ a yeast of 2,90€ pizza mare tomaten, cheese, bone blue and fresh seafood 9,90€ and tagliatelle pisana al forno band noodles baked with weinbrand, brushed strips and parmaschinkens 9,40€. the greeting from the kitchen consisted of a roasted, cold baguette. the tomatoes were refined with garlic and some oil. did not taste bad. the pizza mare had a nice size and there was an additional knife. it was a crispy beautiful thin teig with airy rising edge. the tomatensugo beautiful spicy, tasteful and the cheese beautiful crumble and tasty. the different parts of the colored fish on the point, the mush in the bowl above. just a little problem here, well were they, but where were they doing? the garlic was very economical. each vampir would laugh a se a sea lacha for not baluster, dead. otherwise a neat pizza. the tagliatelle were of good quality, on which point cooked, the brush strips were nicely tender and the sauce a dream. Nice after the weinbrand tasting and stylishly lubricated with slightly creamy consistency. the cheese was nicely disintegrated, but it did not come right with us tastefully. In the room where we have a table, they know that it was an old German guest house. floor, wooden beams, benches with wooden floor rests like a garden fence. the seat covers on the benches with ano additional pattern in blue, there are also a few matching chairs. a large part of the chairs has been renewed. the tables are covered with white tablecloths, red serviettes stand on it and besides that is cute. there are salt and pepper mills, vinegar and oil and a small artificial Christmas cut with candle, which she does not illuminate Christmas decoration decor decorates the room, the walls partly bald, a few pictures there. fast pizza. cleanliness in the es pane all clean, on the toilets trace a few dust."

"We had a big disappointment when arriving at Boccaccio with a colleague from the States that was visiting Ulm. We have eaten at this restaurant several times and had very recently enjoyed a very nice risotto with octopus so we trekked the rather unappealing road...to get to the restaurant, there are heavy road works at the moment, just to discover that several TV have been installed in the restaurant, including a large flat screen in the main room. We were horrified and the most strange thing is that neither the waiters nor the owner could understand what could be possibly wrong. I can hardly believe that anyone wanting to enjoy some nice food and share a conversation with guests or friends will want to do so in front of a football match. For God sake. Will they all scream and cheer and blow some funny trumpets while customers are dining??? There are plenty of bars in Ulm where people wanting to enjoy a football match can go but one would expect that people wanting to have dinner in a fine restaurant would be spared the game. We left in disbelief much to the annoyment of the owner whom unceremoniously showed us the door instead of at least trying to explain that all customers demanded the massive TV installation or whatever. On the contrary, I am getting the impression that the philosophy of this place is that the restaurant is an extension of their living room. That may be fair enough for entertaining your friends, for free, but it is not so for paying customers. It is quite a shame because I think the cooking is good in this place but the rest is definitely not. I doubt that I will ever come back."
