"We visited Mohegan Sun on a Saturday and went online to book a table for dinner-no availability. I called the restaurant and they said no tables until 9:45pm too late for us. We stopped by Ballo in person at 6pm and asked if they could seat us (table for 2). The restaurant had a lot of empty tables and the hostess sat us right away. The restaurant got a little bit busier over the next hour, then it was almost empty by the time we ordered dessert. I was surprised how the quickly the staff could dismiss a phone reservation and how they could be so poor at predicting the number of covers for dinner. Regardless, we had a great dinner. The salmon dinner was grilled and very tasty. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and included a lot of grilled brussel sprouts. The box of cannolis was generous with 5 small chocolate with a so-so filling, but contained too many chocolate chips for my taste. I saw another table order the cheese wheel with pasta, served flaming at table side. It’s not on the menu, but it’s something we would like to try on our next visit. As far as service, the server was fantastic and she explained the specials. The food was expedited very timely, no mistakes. Overall, a very good experience at Ballo"

"Just hosted an event for College Homecoming and our class was super happy and impressed with everything. The venue was large and comfy allowing everyone to eat but comfortably mingle. Banquet room being next to the bar area was also very convenient. Food was delicious and appreciated the ease of having a catering menu that was easy to choose from, tasty, and reasonably priced! Staff were very attentive throughout the night. All in all, a fantastic place to host an event of any size and will most certainly be back!
