"I have been coming to herbs since I was probably about 5. I always choose it for a weekend breakfast and now bring my family as well but can’t wrap my mind around 2 slices of pumpkin bread and two small turkey sausage patties for 26.45 before tax. Literally 2 slices of pumpkin bread. That’s how much just one persons breakfast was this am. With two drinks, tax and a tip it was 40.00 for one person to have breakfast/lunch and the two of us to each have a drink. For the cost of this you can go out to old saybrook and have a full upscale buffet on the water where they slice meat to order, have a waffle bar, omelette station seafood on ice. It’s just feels a little bit crazy to me."

"Fun place to go for a drink before a concert! Took my brother here to grab some drinks before a show at the arena. Staff was friendly, beer was cold, and the overall environment was inviting and fun. Will definitely be back for a more extended stay! "Bland flavors if you’re all about the flavor. I went to a steakhouse and didn’t have the steak because they had many other options. And since I had a larger party with me, we all were able to get something different, dessert included. The consensus was that of flavor and the lack of. All dishes needed salt and something interesting to awaken what had already came dead. The dessert dishes we had were lack luster and even the garlic bread seemed off. Not the garlic flavor surprisingly. It was the bread itself. Almost stale from what I can remember. Nevertheless the restaurant was packed which reminded me of FoMo. “Fear of missing out”. You’re not missing out. Trust. MJ23 Sports Bar and Grill (next door) Had far better dishes and it’s not even a “Restaurant”.(P.S) I brought some food home to see if maybe it was just me not feeling it the night before but nope, it was even more disappointing."

"I had really high hopes for Tao and was really excited to try it out but let me just say what a disappointment. The only good thing about this place was the ambiance. Visually it 's pretty and all but that 's literally all it had going for it. Went in to check it out and have a drink at the bar- the vibe was dead. Literally felt like a funeral or something it was just so blah. The bartender was kind of frenemy didn 't seem like she wanted to be friendly but had to be lol. I ordered a basic patron margarita with salt and lime..she rimmed it with sugar and a crusty old lime. This drink was a 0/10 omg it was awful!!! I can 't believe we paid $42 for two horrible drinks ugh. After how bad it was I didn 't want to eat there because even the food being brought out looked nasty. I 'm so surprised that this place sucked so hard I didn 't expect that. I definitely have to reason to go back here."

"Definitiw a hidden gem in new london. our server julia was a shady! I am in the regular hesitant to order garnelen sampi in restaurants because my father's homemade recipe has put all the others to shame and in the regular garnelen sampi ends garnelen shrumpelig, however, this was not the case this time. I will be back for this delicious dish that was perfectly seasoned. Portions are super generous and the prizes are great."
