What Carolyn Litzell likes about Tea House St. Paul:
Pretty good spot to grab casual Chinese fare. I recommend the Kung Pao chicken or tofu. Portions are very shareable so don't let the prices keep you from trying them out. I thoughy the Dan Dan noodles were a let down. Not enough sauce (though the sauce was quite good) and overcooked noodles (perhaps due to takeout and better ordered fresh). The restaurant was fairly empty when I arrived, there were about 6 people dining at the time and service was slow.Hong Sue Beef Noodle Soup: Bland in my opinion.Mongolian Beef Tenderloin: The dish contains 70% onions and 30% beef.Three Chilli Chicken: It was a decent dish, it was the best out of the other 2 dishes ordered.The factors to why I will not be returning:-Slow service.
