The pasta bar is outstanding and very reasonably priced at the lunch time. The price is too high for dinner but it is a great stop for lunch. They are also closed for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays so one cannot get the pasta bar on the weekend unless they pay the exorbitant dinner price. Trattoria used to be my favorite restaurant in St. Paul. The gnocchi is the best I 've had since my trip to Italy, or at least it used to be. The pasta itself is still very good, but the Gorgonzola sauce, which I used to love, is ridden with Parmesan cheese, making it taste like a salt lick. I also had a Caprese salad, which was awful.
