"Haven't been to Hagie's in awhile, so stopped on our way back into town on a Sunday evening. Dining options seem to be limited after 3p on Sunday's in the area, but we were happy with our choice. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. The toasted rav's were good, but could use a nice sprinkle of parmesan to take them up a level. My husband ordered the Sunday dinner special BBQ pork steak, which was a bit overdone, as you can see, and dry. I think they should go with a thicker cut of pork, as it was in the thin side. His dinner salad was good sized and even had small florets of broccoli and cauliflower pieces. I ordered the steak sandwich which had great flavor and was easy to eat without a fork or knife. I would only suggest a more substantial bread option, like a hoagie roll, as the grilled sourdough wasn't really grilled enough and got soggy on the bottom pretty quick. Overall, the taste on everything was good and we'll be back."

"Food has gone DOWNHILL! Had a takeout today and called and talked to the Manager because the Turtle Cake was STALE! Tasted OLD, dry and unable to eat! Manager argued it's taken from freezer DAILY!! Maybe it's been in FREEZER TOO LONG!!!! Thought the Customer is always right! Last trip there for me!"

"WOW! Totally great BBQ! We ordered burnt ends (so soft and juicy perfection pulled pork sandwiches (so good, nice buns and ribs (divine . Love all the sides and sauces too. The honey cornbread was practically dessert. They guy handling the ordersas you select your meat was on point he knew the menu. So fast everyone is clearly working hard and paying attention to oneanother. The cashiers were great and when they went on a round to wipe down the tables after families left he even bussed ourtable. (Which is not to be expected. That was really kind of him, as we were catching up after the lunch rush died down. If youdine during peak hours it will be loud but if you're there after the rush it is so peaceful. The queue is along the right handwall and you can even pick out bottled drinks or fountain drinks there before you get your tray/ order. Once at the serving areathe first server asks what meat or meal you're selecting and will write that on the paper on the baking sheet/tray to you. Pullporked is literally weighed so you get the full 6oz or 8oz. The next server will set you up with your side/s. Nice big portionsso that's pretty great! My partner missed the pork fried rice option so we have to try that next time. He loved the slaw, verycrunchy, Pop had the beans, and I had potato salad (it's a wet mild potato salad so kids should like it . There is a menusign on the right hand wall that has meals and everything printed easy to miss if you get up to the queue and see thechalkboard sign overhead. This sign is much easier to read than the chalkboard overhead. Chalkboard is best for when the linereally wraps ;D Tables are set up with rolls of paper towels (because bbq and most of the sauces, I think check thecondiment and soda fountain station for the hotter/spicy bbq sauces. "I work in Washington this month and I eat strictly non-chain restaurants. I had a cheeseburger and ice cube. They pour on melted cheese instead of a slice of cheese that is not my preferred method. Most of my cheese squirted on the sides, but they told me it was melted cheese, so I can't blame them. Otherwise it was a good burger and good ice cream. Friendly staff and clean restaurant."
