"Lovely, slightly off the beaten track eatery, we were made to feel very welcome with excellent friendly service. food was excellent and received helpful pointers as to what dishes contained meat and vegan dishes etc. My perogi were great and the bortsch that my wife...had aas excellent. Very interesting location as well, packed with independent traders, two record shops and three pubs... : ... Well worth seeking out..."

"First class culinary experience. We went for a tasting menu, which was a journey through 7 different flavours, textures, and components. Each meal served on a hand made pottery, different for each meal. It was a memorable evening, good vibes in Next door. True gem on a map of Cheshire restaurants. "A difficult review to write as the experience in some respects was amazing then let down by some courses that actually were difficult to eat as the flavour was so bitter. The service was 5 star, and full marks for creativity but maybe trying too hard as more attention needs to be in the flavour, I eat anything found a few dishes difficult to eat as it was bitter however some were so amazing the best I’ve ever had. It could have blown us away but I’m not sure we will go back."

"Booked for afternoon tea for me and my mum. Absolutely lovely setting and welcoming atmosphere. The tea sets and crockery were so beautiful. The selection of teas were amazing and I love the fact they were loose leaf! The afternoon tea itself was delicious (especially...the sandwiches, oh and the cakes…and everything else). Congratulations to the ladies at this tearoom for making such an amazing environment. I’ll be back asap!"
