What Yuri Moreno doesn't like about Antigua Coffee Shop:
Order a croissant sandwich and the antigua omelette. The croissant was good but the omelet seasoning was blended and the ingredients were not incorporated correctly, seems like they just added the ingredients in the middle after it was ready. The decorations and service were great. Standard American breakfast, nothing special. View all feedback. What Shawn Bennett likes about Antigua Coffee Shop:
A nice and clean coffee shop that was sorely needed in this neighborhood. The pastries are fresh and coffee is good. Service is friendly and the vibe is relaxing. A quite place to sit, relax, enjoy your coffee me and possibly run into familiar faces. Has all the makings for a good local joint and hope it becomes one. View all feedback.

read moreThe cafe received mixed reviews from customers. Some appreciated the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and fresh pastries and coffee. Others found the food to be hit and miss, with dry and salty grilled chicken and lackluster salads. The cafe seems to have potential as a local hangout spot, with a good selection of drinks and desserts at reasonable prices. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy a coffee or a quick bite, but might not be the best option for a full meal.
Excellent breakfast, now they have outdoor seating. I really like their coffee, it's strong. Not just burnt and dark but tasty dark and strong....

I wrote this when they first opened and it's still true now: What a gem in the heart of downtown SSF! An unexpected find for the area.
South San Francisco you have a very special neighborhood coffee shop.
