Blackbird is a treat! I was hunting for good coffee, and ended up finding far more, in the best possible ways. I am thoroughly impressed. Not only was the coffee delicious, but the food that we got was phenomenal! The atmosphere is being newly remodeled, and I can't wait to see what it looks like completely done. What Alex Deters doesn't like about Blackbird Espresso Bar & Bistro:
I had a hot latte that was mostly bubbles. I think the milk was steamed too much and by the time I got to work it was pretty sad. With the $1 tip I paid almost $8 for about half a to go cup of coffee. I could feel the cup was pretty light, but it was worse than I expected once I looked at it with all of the popped bubbles. They always have vegan granola bars and at least one other vegan item in the case. They have a light roast and a dark roast coffee with plant milk options, also cold brew. Has a few other menu items that can be modified vegan.
They have some standard esresso drinks w a handful of flavors as well as a good beer selection! i have never been in there when they haven't had a vegan option in the pastry case, usually more than one. also have had vegan soups in the past that are clearly labeled.
A really nice place to work with good internet. Coincidentally they have great coffee and friendly service. :
Delicious coffee and food! Their chicken tostadas were amazing and season well. Service was friendly. I would go again!
