I really want to like this place, because it's local, they have local brews, a fun environment and trivia However, the service is incredibly slow.
My son and I came here for lunch today around 2pm.No one in the restaurant and the server was at the back booth reading a book.

"I am born and raised in the South and my husband is a true blood Yankee! On our way home from visiting family in Louisiana/Texas on our way back to Jersey we stopped here and we were SO glad!! The food was amazing!! My husband got the fried catfish?it was fresh, crispy and seasoned to perfection and the his sweet potato fries were so so good! The pieces of catfish were so large!! I got the boiled shrimp with the hot/Cajun seasoning and they were perfect! And to top it"

"I've known about the place for a long time to try. The atmosphere is super friendly and interesting, the service was fast and smiling, the food was top notch delish! I had the catfish, and most places on bread it overcooked it and comes to you as a fat evil fried mess, NOT HERE! Light flaky well cooked and well seasoned with just enough bread to be crunchy. Hush puppies are usually not my thing, again because most places make them too big and then overcook them to get the center ready. Here they are slightly smaller than expected, but crisp with fantastic taste. A great beer selection with people who are well trained to tell you what is offered! Stuck around for the Sassy Brown Blues band and had a great time! Look forward to a return flight!"

"We enjoyed our lunch here. The price was right and the pita along with the garlic chicken was fresh and tasty. The salad was also good. It’s a little tight inside but it was clean and the service was good. It reminded me of how much I like this style food. Stop in for a visit sometime. I think they have curbside pickup too.
