"Great outdoor space to enjoy lunch if you’re unlucky enough not to get seated. I recommend a reservation. Beware if they can’t get you in, to go service will likely be slow. Just enjoy the space and relax..perhaps start with a glass of wine or two. The deviled eggs might be the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Everything was good to great but I’m certain the tasting menu inside is fantastic. You can’t get everything to go btw. If you’re in a hurry go anyway and grab a snack inside, they have cookies and handmade crackers at the counter as well as jams and various local mushoom concoctions. Not cheap but different and anything in there would make a great gift. I will be back but next time with a reservation."

"We tried to celebrate our 48th anniversary there on June 1st. I ordered the basic salad with basil vinaigrette and a fillet. I ordered the steak to be medium aka pink (I described pink . The steak was served rare (purple and the side of potatoes were refrigerator cold inside. The server took the steak back for more time on the grill when it came back, it was charred on the exterior but still rare. The server saw it before I said anything she returned it to the kitchen. When it came back the third time, it was sliced thin, well done like jerky and tossed on the plate! Inedible! The potatoes and 4 (literally 4! green beans were cold. Also, the simple salad was just lettuce and the stems were brown. We were not charged for my failed meal which we were grateful for. . Our server was lovely. My husbands meal was fine but unremarkable. But our special evening was nearly ruined."

"Ravens' restaurant is absolutely tasty and I highly recommend eating here - whether you are here or live in stanford. I stayed with my mother and we ate here every breakfast and dinner for our stay! from the magnificent view, courteous staff and delicious vegan kitchen- we had the best time! breakfast and dinner were both special- check out my photos! it is very unique to find a restaurant that does not depend in mosquito dishes, oil and on salted foods - everything on the menu is fresh, creatiw and allows the aromen for fresh crumbled to live with local ingredients thanks to that they have added the best food out there!"

"First time in Mendocino and my boyfriend and I decided to stay at Heritage Inn! For one of the nights we came to 5200 for dinner since it was at the resort! I absolute loved the dining experience here! Food *Shrimp remoulade We ordered this app to share. Yum! The shrimps were so jumbo and tasty. I like my seafood fresh and simple these days so I can taste all the goodness. *Walnut pesto pasta Wow! I loved this so much. Usually when I order pasta at restaurants, the portions are small. This portion was pretty generous and there were lots of shrimp pieces too. The sauce was on point! *Scallops My boyfriend ordered this dish and I tried a piece of the scallops. The scallops were big and fresh! Ambiance I am so not used to the ambiance of restaurants like these because usually when my boyfriend and I go to a restaurant for date nights, they are usually loud and crowded even if it's a more romantic scene. The space was perfect. It looks exactly like the pictures. There is a great view. The music was not loud and our neighbors weren't too close to us. Also, the heat was on and I was totally fine not wearing a jacket indoors so it was very cozy. I get cold super easily and I never get to take off my coat in restaurants but I was able to here! Service The lady at front desk seated us since there was one waiter on duty that night. The service was a bit slow since there was only one person, however, our waiter was nice and we understood. After dinner, we went to the lounge next door for drinks and live music. The live entertainer was so good! There are couches and board games. It is a great place for couples, families and children. Overall, great place! I can't get enough of how great of the experience we had here."
