"Very nice atmosphere, we enjoyed the live music and friendly staff. We had the seafood platter for my sister's birthday celebration. It was delicious! Tried a variety of speciality drinks. "I've been to Nobu Lanai a total of 3x now. Once during my visit to FSLanai last year and twice during my most recent visit to FSLanai. The yellowtail jalapeno I had here last year was probably the best version I've had at any Nobu. We ordered it again this year and while it was good, it was not as good as I remembered. Here's what I recommend getting: yellowtail jalapeno (a classic) whitefish sashimi with dry miso miso black cod (another classic) lobster tempura spicy tuna with crispy rice (i really like Nobu's take on this dish. it was fun to eat) wagyu gyoza (smoky, juicy, umami. get this) any of the maki (I really enjoyed the spicy scallop and spicy salmon maki) sashimi tacos wagyu anything Here's what I recommend skipping: creamy spicy rock shrimp tempura (I've never had Nobu's version, but I saw so many people ordering this dish and got FOMO. I regret wasting calories on this) uni (at Nobu's price points, the uni should be amazing, but the only thing I could say about it was that it was edible) most of the nigiri we had an excellent nigiri set as part of the omakase last year, but we ordered a few a la carte this year and were underwhelmed Yes, Nobu is way overpriced for what it is. You can definitely get much better sushi for less. However, if you're staying in Lanai, it's worth at least one visit for the food, views, and vibes. Pro tip: make a reservation for dinner in advance, but if you want a more casual vibe, you can walk in and sit at the bar. Heads up: the service at the bar was a bit slower."

"Considering the type of cafe/restaurant, I’ll give it 5 stars for fresh, delicious food and great service! Many choices, all freshly made to order, except the pans of daily specials at the counter. All of those looked good too! I ordered a half size Greek salad, Turkey Swiss Pesto sub and a Mushroom Swiss burger, all to share and superb flavors and again, very fresh. We opted to sit on the front lanai instead of inside and while we ordered at the counter, Rella brought our orders out to us and even checked on us again to see if our food was okay. Excellent service! There are no fountain drinks or any alcohol beverages. Some canned drinks or bottled water to choose from."

"Ambiance of the restaurant provided the quintessential Hawaii experience since it overlooks beautiful Manele Bay. The open-air design of the restaurant makes it also perfect for those searching for an open-air dining experience during the COVID pandemic. Food service were excellent. It was the perfect meal to end our honeymoon on Lanai!"

"I don't understand the bad reviews, but our visits were wonderful! they have a lot of baked and coffee options for a quick breakfast as well as cocktails. we stopped twice, once for breakfast and then another time after the beach we wanted to enjoy a cocktail. the seating areas with the tw are wonderful and the staff was great. my man ordered the cocktail of the queen and said he enjoyed it. it was a hot day that was so friendly warm, but otherwise cooler spot."

"Minteresting you should ask. Since making this reservation, their hours had changed and they were no longer open for the evening meal. You should better keep up with the comings and goings of the restaurants you cover as difficult as that probably is to do!!"
