"This is an iconic pizza place in Wausau, WI. The main dining area is closed for dine in service due to COVID-19, but when it's open, it's family fun-time. They have arcade games and claw machines to entertain the kids while you schmooze in peace. The bar is open for drinks and dine in service. We went twice during our 5-day stay in Wausau, but some in the family would've been ecstatic to go every night. The pizza is served with a thin crust cut into small rectangles (not quite cracker thin, but close to it). Sauce is mildly sweet, and the cheese to meat ratio is perfect. But the star of the pizza is the seasoning they put on top as a finisher. Really delicious The garlic bread with cheese recipe had changed over the decades, and we liked the older recipe more. HOWEVER, if you never had it as it was before, you'd probably enjoy it now. Lots of cheese melted onto what looked like a French bread style loaf. Not heavy on the garlic, but still flavorful. The bartender was attentive and kind. She seemed to really know and enjoy her customers. Angelos is a great locals spot. Glad they have stayed in business all these decades."

"WHERES THE BEEF. Been here a lot, the last 4 times I received this tiny burger. Please charge me more just fill the bun. Otherwise service was fantastic and food is very good tap beer selection is awesome. Tommy was our waiter and did an excellent job."

"This was our first time here, we came from out of town for a getaway weekend in the area and chose to have dinner here tonight, so we made reservations. The restaurant's interior decor and design captured my attention right away, it was visually ambient and upscale. We were greeted by the little young lady working the front desk, and the server came over and took us to our table right away. We ordered the California roll, Chicken Hibachi dinner, Chicken Katsu, and green tea mochi. We got our soup and salad, which were delicious starters. The California roll was perfect. The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy, flavorful, delicious paired with the sweet chili sauce on the side and the sticky white rice. It's one of my favorite dishes and this did not disappoint, they were spot on with how they make it. My partner's chicken hibachi meal was fantastic, he was very satisfied with his meal. The green tea mochi was the last thing that came, and it was light and delicious topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles. The perfect dessert after all that we had. The server was wonderful, she checked on us consistently, and was very friendly and courteous. We appreciated it. We were very happy with our visit, everything was spot on and I would recommend this place, it's a real gem, wonderful mom and pop restaurant!"

"Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Log Cabin has something of everything. I wasn't there often, but every time I go, the food is always hot and tasty. Staff are very friendly and always check in to see how things are. Unlike other restaurants, they don't try to push extras (like desert) on you. It is a very clean looking restaurant, the tables and seats are in good condition and look well maintained. Overall, very nice restaurant, would recommend to give it a shot!"

"The food was excellent, even the Friday fish fry. The fish was lightly breaded and lightly fried, but nicely crisp. The fries were very good, like steak fries but curled and crisp enough. Tartar sauce was so-so. The red pepper soup was very good. Not avery big menu but adequate. Like everyone, they were short on wait staff and our server was trying to keep up. We just have tohave patience with them! They have a tough job right now."

"The food, drinks, AND SERVICE at this place are amazing! We love to take our family for Friday night fish fries. You can see by the atmosphere that this place earned its loyal patrons. They tend to have a full house on Friday night. We call ahead to reserve a table. Nothing but full bellies and lots of smiles. If you haven't tried this place, look it up."
