"Absolute no go .. a children's menu (small fries and 2 small schnitzels without anything 24.50 per child, seriously? An adult menu with salad and soup 28.50. Condition was overwhelmed, wrong food brought, waited a very long time for lunch...wrong soup brought...arrived at 12 p.m. and only got our food shortly before 1 p.m....and then the wrong one...absolutely no go for a lunch break... when paying, they were great, the card reader was operated very competently : .. very expensive for a below average service, especially for children.. Sorry, for a high quality kitchen it has to fit around it. Unfortunately we will no longer visit this restaurant, price/performance is absolutely poor."

"We, a group of three, arrived after hiking down the Santis mountain on a Tuesday afternoon. We got some Apfelschorles and coffee while gazing at the lake in front of the Seealpsee Berggasthaus. Our waitress was nice; she didn't kick us out even though we...only went inside after we had finished our drinks and after it started raining. They also didn't rip us off on pricing. They had rooms to rent and the whole restaurant looked like a cafeteria for the guests, but it's a a restaurant too. There is a huge patio! The bathroom was clean and I refilled my water bottle in the sink. It was good water."

"We only stopped by for a drink on a Sunday just before lunchtime. The place is nice with a chalet feel to it but the main restaurant is furnished in a more modern way, less wood, sparsely decorated and bright. The waiters are very well dressed, women in traditional Swiss dirndls and the men in waistcoats and ties. I took a look at their menu and their chef, who is mentioned all over the menu as well as in the introduction, seems to be well known and commands a 15 person kitchen brigade. Lots of repeaters seemed to be coming in for their weekly Sunday meals. The menu looked good and resembled all other Swiss mountain restaurants, albeit with higher prices. I am sure the food is good here as the restaurant seems to be the main attraction here.Next time round, we will dine here. I wonder if it can beat my beloved Alpstein in Wildhaus, my favorite restaurant in this town."
