After some very disappointing meals on our recent stay to Hervey Bay we decided to try Smokey Joes. What a change that was the meals were excellent, staff were very polite, friendly and nothing was a hassle. Will definitely be returning to dine here on our next visit and recommend it highly. We came here for a friend's birthday. No one seemed willing or able to take our orders - we had to flag them down every time, although they weren't particularly busy. The drink and food orders were very slow in coming, and unfortunately were mediocre at best. Then we asked for the cake to be brought out. They brought plates and spoons - one too few for our group.
