"El Huacatay was recommended by our hotel and it was our best dinner in the Sacred Valley. We sat in the garden. We started with appetizers and they were delicious. The mushroom ravioli was great. The alpaca main was delicious. One of us had the parts which was very good. Another had fish that was great. This was not fast food but the wait was not unreasonable. The service was excellent. I wish we had found it sooner so we could have gone back."

"Very nice place. we sit outside, the terrace is very cozy. we order drinks and some light to eat. everything was very good. they were pretty busy, but we wait and enjoyed our delicious dinner. reserve them because they are always busy."

"Great dinner after a long day at Machu Picchu. We went here directly from the train station and enjoyed pisco sours and chicha (purple corn drink) with pineapple. All of the food was delicious, but the alpaca ravioli was especially delightful. Very friendly staff."

"I wish we had gone somewhere else, but we went here for lunch a little after 1:00, and there were two people sitting outside and one other person in the restaurant. It took 20 minutes after ordering to finally get a coffee, and another five to get the first lemonade, another 10 to get the second lemonade. It took in total 45 minutes to get two bowls of soup after ordering, one of which was wrong, and by now we were the only ones they had to serve. The main meal was lukewarm when it finally came, and was only okay. The bill wasn't right when it came either. Maybe they had an off day when we were there, but it was ridiculous."
