Got the fried chicken riggies, it was good. Sauce was the best part, noodles cooked well, the chicken however was soggy (kind of expected being a saucy dish) and it felt a little undercooked. Service was attentive and kind. View all feedback.
What Marcelo Schuppe doesn't like about Bella Regina:
When I went there was no reservations needed yet I could not sit down anywhere until my whole party was there so I had to stand the whole time even though they were not even busy and most all tables were still open. Then my party of five was sat at a small table where we felt crammed even though there was a table across from us that was open and had more seating. They said it was for people that had a party of more t... View all feedback.
Hands down, best Italian in Utica, NY. The decor is campy and lighthearted. Nostalgia is best. Food is the same in this perspective. The ambience captures the nostalgia of food. It brings me back to Sunday dinner in my best friend's house. The food will be ordered and the owner, Regina, pours her heart into this food. If this is a lunch break, order your meal the day before. This is not the olive garden where everything is frozen and reheated. That's fresh, but the owner himself. The portions are extremely generous and trust me that you have leftovers for days. The seafood and chicken rigs are exceptional and also order the long hot and rice balls! RJ, our server, was great to offer recommendations and to be patient with my friend and I try to decide what to order. He made the experience, he was friendly, professional and engaged. If you're in Utica, don't miss this hidden gem!
The food here is fantastic and the service is second. The desert could even be better than the ducks if that is possible. Regina is fantastic and so are all the workers we had a great dinner and a great time to visit with everyone and get to know the owner and the staff. The atmosphere is just right for a date or a business dinner. If you don't know about this place, you should really go and find out. It shouldn't be a secret anymore.
Best Riggies in the USA. Green with patato and sausage are also delicious. One of my favorite Italian spots in Utica.
I was born in Utica and we come back to visit family as often as possible. A part of our ritual is to visit local bakeries and shops to store on local favorites. The experience would not be completed without dinner in Bella Regina. You never betray. We are going into today and look forward to it.
By far the best Italian Restaurant in Oneida County. Portions are more than generous and their menu leaves nothing to desire. Regina and Angela work so hard to make your visit special. The waitresses are awesome.
