First time dining at Nostro. Very much enjoyed seeing how they transformed the bank space into the restaurant. Liked the retro feel, great job with lighting, etc. Food was good. Only comment and this is coming from a person who very much enjoys most music.....cranking 80's rock in a late 60's, early 70's retro designed space during the 7:00pm dining slot was a miscue. Find some groove jazz or something (instrumental)... read more.

"My wife and I were blown away by chef Danny. 8 or 9 courses of home cooked Italian food. And when I say home cooked, I mean literally cooked at home. The food is fresh, local ingredients and plentiful. Danny's story is touching and he's a kind soul. It's hard to leave without feeling bonded to the space. The food is not your normal Italian fair. Its the food you'll find on your table if you were a farm worker in Italy. No menu, no drinks. It's 100% chefs choice. Loved the mussels, salads, greens and sausage and eggplant. Oh and garlic bread."

"So great to have a place like this nearby ! We stopped in for lunch and ended up staying almost 3 hours playing new games ! (You should get a portion of the sales for when people like us turn around and buy the games they play there lol) the food was yummy, LOVED the homemade chips and the atmosphere was great. "I saw some negative reviews before we went, so little worried. But it was a great experience! They serve COLD bread. That’s how they’re supposed to be. Refrigerated cold, they were delicious!! Salad has heavy garlic, which is tasty. Service was very quick, right BEFORE we finish appetizer, they brought food. Actually we didn’t have to wait at all throughout."
