"I liked the restaurant and my six friends so well that we were there for dinner three days in a row. You sit very nicely on a roof terrace overlooking the Ganges. The food was excellent, the portions huge and the service very good. My recommendation: Apex Special Thali and Honey-Lemon-Ginger-Tea or a refreshing Lassi. Vegetarian options: Especially recommended, especially when hungry, is the Special Thali!"

"The place was excellent. The food was terrific. They have this amazing art of presenting the food with twist. I will never forgot the taste of the mutton curry which was served with beautiful rice and a kachumber salad. Will be back soon !!!!"

"Okay, that's not exactly a 'restaurant', but, it deserves special attention! this place is really the best sweet shop in the whole india. they only use good quality, natural ingredients (no silver leaves) and have a great variety of tasty, with. I am not much sweeter eater, but if I am in benares, I will make my ksheer sagar repair almost daily! Best/favorite items: ras malai (what is oh so sublime,) sweet curd (dahi meetha,) kheer kadam, cheena payas, ras gola, kheer chamcham, baikunth bhog, and more and tasty! and their samosas are pretty the only samosas that I will eat in them 'cause I know"

"Great place right in the heart of Varanasi. It is only a short walk from the Ganges river. Manager Chandu was really nice, helpful and always took time to answer all of our questions. He assisted us with laundry, morning boat rides and purchasing train tickets. Really good in house restaurant as well one of the few places in town that has clearly marked VEGAN options. Warning if you arrive by cab: Cars Took Tooks can not get closer than a 5 10 minute walk to the hotel."
