"We had a really great experience at this restaurant. We arrived absolutely starving (and a bit grumpy!! and left very full and happy! Amazing fresh food, the best burger I have eaten since arriving in Costa Rica. The place was really clean and the service was excellent! We received a really warm and friendly welcome by the lovely Cindy. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area and in search of a delicious meal. We will definitely be back!"

"From the moment of our arrival the staff greeted us with smiles and respect. Offered us the best spot in the restaurant (a private room with a/c and surrounded by a wine cellar). The quality of customer service was just a great as the food and the timing. Prices are decent for the tourist area. The Ya Sai Sushi was amazing. It was my girlfriends birthday and everything was perfect. They even gifted her with an incredibly delicious chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream on top and on the house! Thank you Mosaic!"

In our two trips to enjoy the journey through their culinary offerings, we experienced a wealth of variety. Their menu is awash with the tastes and techniques of the far flung reaches of every point on the gastronomic spectrum. Each bite feels as if it’s part of a culinary sonnet, waxing poetic about that particular dishes long held provenance. The entire experience feels like a pilgrimage through a tapestry of tantalizing dishes meant to leave your tastebuds in an utter state of euphoria. This is one of the few establishments I’ve encountered where I would personally fly from anywhere on the planet back to them for the sole purpose of experiencing their food once more."

"We loved this place so much we came back the next day! The empanadas are so very authentically Argentinian and perfectly made. The pizza is made with delicious and fresh ingredients. The homemade juices were also a hit! But the alfajores were on a whole different level of special. They transported me to South America again to the extent that I went back and bought the rest of what they had. Thank you Ana, Christian, and Jose for being so wonderful to my family."

"We went here twice during a recent stay in Uvita. Four stars for the food only because my fajita on night two had a massive chunk of fat. On the plus side they made it good by giving us a shot of the four-year old house rum for postres. The food was great, otherwise, as was the service. Highly recommended!"

"Yes there is a GF menu ….but if you have celiac ask questions. The fryer is shared so anything in the fryer is a no for celiacs. On the menu these items are still marked GF, so ask on items such as the falafel if they go in the fryer.Others are obvious.The salads and smoothies are safe as are tacos. Food was yummy and they seemed knowledgeable on cc but don’t rely on the menu markings. Great setting on the road to the waterfall. Turn up the road at the bank of Costa Rica"

"The food was nicely prepared and delicious! Los Laureles always deserves their stellar reviews! The menu has many offers: something for everyone..it makes it difficult to choose, but. Cindy, one of the families/owners was our gracious waitress. Your proposal for a frozen fireball margarita was delicious! Smoothies also amazing. Both my husband and I devote our generous and tasty meals. Authentic Costa Rica from the establishment, hospitality and food. If you visit Uvita, this is not a place to miss! We're coming back!"
