"Not being familiar with Port Perry we looked to trusty Trip Advisor for a nice place to eat lunch while passing through. Neither Trip Advisor nor Foundry Kitchen disappointed! It is a small restaurant with limited indoor and outdoor seating (due to COVID), and doesn't...really look like much from the outside. Even once inside, we weren't really sure what to expect as the decor isn't what you typically find when paying higher meal prices, not to suggest in any way that this is a prohibitively expensive restaurant, it's not. But the reviews were good so we were determined to give it a shot. I'm glad we did! First of all the service was outstanding! Very friendly and helpful, and they're doing an excellent job ensuring patrons can visit safely under the current pandemic situation. For that point alone I would not hesitate recommending this restaurant. But it gets better! The food was amazing! The Caesar salad was very tasty, and being a garlic fan, I was happy with the garlic level in the dressing. Our table was split with half ordering the fried chicken sandwich entree with duck fat fries, and half ordering the pasta item (I forget how to spell it), and it was big thumbs up all around. It really could not have been better. The churros for dessert were also very good. We will definitely be back next time we're in Port Perry! Just a note for anyone with mobility issues, the washrooms are down a flight of stairs. It didn't bother us at all, but just figured you should know in case this is something you need to consider."

"I just got back from a week-long trip dedicated to trying the best in BBQ and smoked foods in Texas. The brisket and pulled-pork from the Uxbridge Smokehouse is in the same league, but at much better prices. It is also very convenient to find good smoked food in Uxbridge, instead of making your way to Austin Texas. I will try out the rest of their menu soon."

"I'm meeting with a friend who went to uxbridge. I have recommended urban pantry quickly to meet as I am already some paint here and every time I am impressed by the consistency and quality of eating and service. I would definitely make reservations only safe. my only comment to the noise level was that a more difficult time my friend heard when we sat between 2 big groups that had some great talks. it did not help me and my friend have a hearing loss. overall, great experience and will definitely be back!"

"The best Mac Cheese I have ever enjoyed coming with bacon or pulled pork is either delicious, but my personal favorite is bacon. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food at a reasonable price! Chef Raj is very responsive and takes care of the preparation and cooking of every meal fresh. Always a pleasure for the stomach and the soul eat in the Baldwin Bistro! Very recommended!"
