"The evening started so well, a lovely setting and the stater of scallops and prawns was delicious. But then it went downhill, ordered fillet steak for the main course cooked medium rare. What was served up was not fillet or medium rare. It was some...bit of tough chewy meat and cooked well done. By the time I managed to attract the attention of the waiter, I had eaten the vegetables but had left the meat I told the waiter about the meat but didn't want a replacement as it was getting late. Bearing in mind this was a 40 euro menu when it came settling the bill the waiter thought it was sufficient to knock 8 euros off the bill. Customer relations are non existent. There are quite a few other restaurants in the town, I would suggest trying one of those."

"This place is both a charming hotel and also a restaurant, all with an exceptional family history that is nice to hear. I highly recommend the chef's menu. We ate very, very well. The wine selection is fabulous. "Very disappointed! We often enjoy a fabulous lunch at a 'workers' restaurant in nearby 'Quatre Chemins' but thought we would visit here for a change. The restaurant is divided, really, which seems like segregation, where only workers enjoy the multi course bargain menu. Non workers, as deemed by le 'madam' must pay for a normal two course / three course option at a considerable premium while watching 'les travaillers' enjoy the same, 'plus plus plus' including wine and coffee, but for mic less? Surely such division is illegal in an 'egalitarian' France? If you are not a worker, you pay more for less?Hmmm. The food wasn't really worth the price hike either. Give this place a miss. They need to get real. You can't choose who eats what and for what price!"

"I booked through the Michelin website. I received a confirmation of the booking and a reference number. I went to the restaurant along with my three guests and the place was closed. Appalling way to treat a customer. No contact was made either by the restaurant or Michelin. I was completely embarrassed and left with no hope of finding a different restaurant. I will never go there again.I will never use the Michelin site again ever."

"Recently, despite a more limited menu (due to Covid), I have been positively surprised. First of all the addition of several new waiting staff has improved the place secondly the starters, main course and desert were good. Not sure why one orders a piece...of meat well done and it arrives (twice) totally blue (raw)...but ultimately all good !"
