We booked this reservation for a 33rd anniversary. Our waitresses was very attentive to that and brought us two glasses of champagne and dessert when we were done. Outstanding service. View all feedback.
What Stephanie doesn't like about Elway's Vail:
Small venue. Spinach artichoke dip was fab. Service was OK , considering prices. Waitress seemed distracted, not invested in our table. Lobster was delicious, rib eye 4 of 5 stars. Dessert was bad, skip it. View all feedback.
Seating people from preferred hotels but ignored us. Menu has been chopped down to basically steaks. We ordered steak tacos but that was mistake and I couldn’t even get refill on iced tea. Place wasn’t busy but had little help so it made our 40th anniversary dinner one to forget.
Service was pretty terrible-slow and poor timing. The bartender can’t service drinks for whole restaurant and wait the bar tables also. The artichoke app was very dissappointing
My Prime NY Strip needed a chain saw to slice AND it wasn't very tasty either. Very disappointing and expensive meal.
The whole experience was average for the price charged. Steak and salmon were overcooked. Halibut was good, but I'd go to Sweet Basil's next time!
I eat a steak about once a year, so I’m glad I did so here. Food was excellent. Service friendly and helpful. Valet at Lodge at Vail covered by the restaurant—yea! . If you have food allergies, be aware that the steak rub they use has nuts, soy and other things in it. You can ask for it not to be used in your meal. There are other menu options, too.
