The chef at La Tour is a gift from heaven. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Not only is the cuisine consistently excellent, but the service is great also. The turkey was cooked to perfection on Thanksgiving, and our desserts were amazing. What User doesn't like about La Tour:
a decidedly tired and unimaginable menu. the only passable items we had were the bottle weeping and half dozens of oysters. the brot was stale, french woof medium, and the dover sole was sawn in fish finger. cream brûlée came with a fiery flowering but turned out to be clumpy and granular. the service was also laughingly brittle and crispy. save her money and look elsewhere for a nice dinner in vail.
