Normally I avoid place directly opposite tourist attractions like the plague, and we all know why. However it was hot, the town was busy and my daughter was starving so it looked OK and we gave it a go. Worthy decision very nice salads, relaxed and mellow feel, decent house rose and a proprietaire who resembles Helen Mirren's younger sister. We decided to lunch here after visiting the Roman ruins. Only wanted a light lunch so ordered an omelette and a pancake. Waited an hour for them to be served. Nothing special about them. The excuse was that someone had ordered aioli which involved a lot of cooking....so what? Not enough staff in the kitchen or poor kitchen organisation. Will not be returning. read more.
