"I think too often Laurentian restaurants are providing good food, but it 's more often than not 'same old, same old. ' NOT HERE! At L 'Epicurieux their tapas like portions are each unique, full of creative flavors. Many of their ingredients are locally sourced. We had visitors...from England and the 4 of us chose the Wednesday nite tasters ' menu- and just loved being surprised, plate after plate-from the first course to their delicious, not to be missed desserts. [Bread does not come with the meal- but is a must- the quality was wonderful, and it soaks up all those great sauces. The service was very pleasant throughout. Clearly this is a team that is working hard to create an excellent experience. We will be back."

"We expected an amazing dining experience after seeing the reviews. Unfortunately, it was truly a disappointing experience.From waiting 10 min for someone to great us, the 3 meals we ordered were truly not of quality. The grilled octopus was over cooked and lacked seasoning, and the fried eggplants were drenched in more oil than needed. The third plate, which was potatoes with feta, was a plate more found in fast food joints.The service was not existent. No water service during the whole meal. I know they might have been busy, but there is a minimum for a so-called high end restaurant.The only highlight was the beer."

"The only reason I 'm rating this restaurant and butcher shop 4 instead of 5 is because they only have French menus. Not sure if that changes during tourist season. My meal was excellent from a perfectly mixed negroni to inventive in house and local charcuterie to a light lobster linguine to an over the top Pouding Chomeur for dessert. Everything was local, felt very authentic...would be a shame for non French speaking diners to miss out simply because of a language gap. Also, great wine list, very friendly sommelier, staff and they, unprompted, offered to make burgers/grilled cheese or pasta for the kids."

"Wonderful restaurant. The staff was amazing and helpful. We booked for a table of 13 and one of the cars got stuck at our chalet and we weren't able to arrive on time and was late 30 mins. The staff were understanding and also translated the menu to English for us. The food was amazing, the bread was fresh. The food such as steak was cooked on point as per preference. The kids repeated orders of the wild mushroom rivioli and fried calamari. Everyone was happy with their meals. All meals came with soup of the day. It was a nice place for dinner."
