"Restaurante Venta del Comendador, which we discovered while searching for a restaurant for our over-the-road route, seemed like a pretty good option for a location like Valdepeñas that we stopped by for the first time. Local dishes, historical place and being the most popular restaurant of the region shaped our decision. Despite the reservation it was so busy restaurant and we started to experience serious problems from the first minute in the restaurant. When ordinary plates were added to parameters such as the incompatibility of the staff, the low quality of service, and the late arrival of each plate, we realized that we had made a wrong choice. We tried 4 dishes from the weekend menu: only Baked Lamb was worth talking about. Menu €24"
