We ordered the Cobb Salad and the A1 Burger. The server was working alone and was quite busy, but still managed to do an excellent job. The food took a bit longer than usual to come out of the kitchen, but it was worth the wait as it was delicious and prepared exactly as requested. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Willees Tavern:
We have been coming to this desert restaurant for 45 years, solely for their famous fish sandwiches. The fish is flown in fresh from Maine every Friday. The sandwiches are generous in size, with two large pieces of fish stacked on a small bun. However, be prepared to wait if you arrive after 5 pm on a Friday, as it can get very busy. The fish dinner was good as well as the lobster flat bread but you have to bring cash to this restaurant or you will get charged an extra fee to use your credit card. Lousy way to recoup costs if you ask me.
Willees has a new addition to their staff, Lisa. She is bright, funny, super friendly and knows what her stuff behind the bar. I met Lisa one time prior to my visit Wednesday. I sat down and she asked me if I was having a Miller Lite draft. I was very impressed with her. Good job hiring her! She is a great addition to your staff!

The best fish sandwich in the world! I don't exaggerate. ask for bruce's hot soak. the best. ron, linda bruce. beautiful bar and kamin. is not better than that!
It's been about 50 years since my grandfather brought me to willees tavern for a fish sandwich. excellent service and sandwich. much bigger than I remember, and the sawdust was gone
