What Jarne Verhaegen likes about Cabalen:
Cabalen has always been a favorite resto of ours! My family left California years ago and we finally were able to visit again recently and we made sure to stop by Cabalen. Food selection is great, always freshly cooked. Their sisig is a must try!! And of course their buko pie and caramel cake are the best!! And also the titas/manangs are accommodating and friendly! I went there because they were supposed to be an AYCE BUFFET. They are not. The prices seem a little on the high side but the food is okay. The workers do not speak English very well so it is not easy for them to answer you when you ask them a question. I would recommend to this Restaurant that they put labels on their food dishes. "I used to really like this place. I liked the products. I've always ordered in bulk as well. Today I stopped by to pick up my orders, and I asked if I could use the restroom really bad. Like, really bad. I was told the restroom is only for employees use only. I was asked to walk to the next store over to use a restroom. Lack of common sense and consideration I guess. Employees here suck with service and again, lack of common sense I'll bring my business somewhere else."
