Beef soup broth and beans were bland.Rice was nice and fluffy. No hot sauce was placed in the to go order.I was almost over charged by the receptionist. I addressed it and she corrected it without an apology.I will not be returning. View all feedback.

I love the pan de bono from here but almost every time I come they either have none or are closed. Today I went and the lady at the front told me that it would take 30 minutes because they were still baking. I came back a bit over an hour later and she told me that they needed 20 more minutes. I called to see if they had them before I left the house again and the phone was picked up and then hung up on me immediately
So glad this little restaurant is in my neighborhood. I decided to try it on Tuesday because I wanted something light and not fast food. I purchased a beef empanada and tostones. The empanada had a different crust than what I am used to. It is very crunchy and I believe it's made of corn. The beef was tender and well seasoned. It was delicious. The tostones were bland as tostones are but they were accompanied with a yummy sauce that had a kick to it. .... delicious! Today I ordered the chicken soup since it's cold and raining out and I just didn't feel like cooking. To my surprise the soup with just the broth, yucca corn potatoes and oregano was in a container shipping along with that came what looked like an entire additional meal consisting of a chicken leg rice and cabbage for under $10.Everything was absolutely delicious. The decor gave me a columbian mom's house so it was really welcoming. Lady at the register was very pleasant. Give this place a try if you're looking for some like home cooked meals.
