Reception and perfect service and I enjoyed myself. Moreover, the building is very beautiful. I'll be right back.
Very good reception and restoration at the top!!!! I will come back.
This was a restaurant we used to visit a few years ago. Beautiful interior stuffed full of antiques and perfectly prepared tables with food to match. Very hard to fault with its attractive setting in a reasonably unspoilt but touristy town in the Ardeche. Noticed this time in 2015 the tables outside looked slightly tacky with cheap plastic mats and wine glasses laid criss cross on their sides. Nonetheless we went ahead and booked a table. Could not believe the contrast to our earlier visits The food was absolutely dreadful and the expensive wine tasted like a 2 euro cheapo. Sorry but please do not get taken in. This restaurant is nothing more than a snack bar at best. If you want a great meal go to Le Chelsea or the superb eatery at Camping Vivarais Soleil.
Very individual and nice decor, food was good and plentiful, reasonable value too. Only problem was with a waitress who broke a glass at our table which cut my 8-year old son a little cut: she seemed stressed out even before this, and her attitude was a bit unfriendly. Another waitress put a bandage on my son, she was nice. Not the best but not bad. Definitely worth a try though, the regional dishes were good.
