The best sandwiches, cachapas, tequeños and barraquitos on La Isla del Hierro. Javier and Mrs. Mery are excellent hosts.

"We were in El Hierro last week and had the pleasure to find a lovely coffee shop right in the centre of Forntera! A must go if you are around! Coffee could be the best we had in the whole island but at night you can have an organic beer from la Palma island for only €2! Definitely we will be back!!"

My brother in law who lives in Spain has mentioned to us ‘Bacalao’ dried, salted cod fish which is soaked before cooking.
