"Such a quiet little place! Such fun decor inside! We got there at 5pm on a Saturday, which proved to be a great time as it was getting closed to full when we left at 6! We had the hamburger steak fried catfish, the steak could've used a little more flavor, but the fish was perfect! And those rolls! They were soooo good! Will be back again for sure! Great customer service all around!"

"We really enjoyed our meal here! The brisket was good, but the pig was the real star here! (I think) The ribs were crazy about tasty delicate, tasteful and glazed with a really tasty sauce! The pulled pig was moist with great taste. The Jalapeño sausage was excellent. The next great surprise was the German potato salad! I had no German potato salad in the BBQ. It was really good... it's a little sweeter than I do... that's only informatively not critical. Some like as sweet as mad. I cannot forget to mention customer service Everyone was friendly and helpful. The cashier even stopped helping me carry my plates outside. We ate outside, and there is nothing better than eating outside with a beautiful lush meadow of grass and spring flowers in the background!! This was definitely a Top 5 Texas BBQ experience. We're coming back!"

"It took 30 minutes to bring us our onboard order that was ordered online. we had to call 2 times inward and the first person did not come out to give an update. so we called back after another 10 minutes. this person sounded as if they were not interested and talked out. when we finally got the order, it was wrong. my man ordered a meat and speck and got 2 meats and speck. I ordered a single patty melt and got a double meat patty melt. they forgot the drink order when the order was brought out. we gave our dogs the extra meat. it was not a good experience."

"Great experience. Even though trades were weekends and a Saturday morning (both very packed times for them), they could stay on our order and keep us tending. Great food. Locals said it's definitely the place for breakfast in the city. Pancakes were the best I ever had"

"The food as always is great!! In Lake Charles our Dairy Queen does not have the tacos or the nachos we love... so this Dairy Queen has our day!! And the service was a little slow because the staff was busy, but still satisfactorily."
