What OlgaR doesn't like about Guu with Garlic:
Food was good. Service was poor. Our server was rushed, missed an appetizer, brought appetizers after the main course, never checked in, and was simply never there when needed. On the whole, it ruined the experience. View all feedback. What Jen Norton likes about Guu with Garlic:
This place is lovely! I honestly don't remember much about the food- I just remember that I ended up here on Halloween with my ex and we had a great time. Everyone was dressed up, including the kitchen staff, and there were decorations everywhere! I loved the spirit in the restaurant that night. Just that I'm itself is enough for me to guarantee that I'll be back in the future View all feedback.

read moreGuu with Garlic in Vancouver offers a unique Japanese cuisine experience with delicious and adventurous tapas-style dishes. The restaurant has a lively vibe best enjoyed with drinks. While the service can be erratic, the food is fresh and well presented, making it worth the visit. The portions are not huge but are sufficient and tasty. The restaurant is popular and can get busy, so reservations are recommended. The prices are reasonable and the menu offers a variety of daily specials to try. The atmosphere is boisterous and fun, making it a great spot for a lively meal with good service. With a mix of traditional Japanese and Nepali/Indian dishes, the restaurant offers a cozy setting with excellent food at affordable prices. Overall, Guu with Garlic is a must-try for those looking for a new and unique dining experience in Vancouver.
