Contribute FeedbackThe reviews for Max's Restaurant point to a mixed experience. While some enjoyed the Filipino dishes like Lumpia, roast pork, and Kare Kare, others found the food overpriced and lacking in quality. Service seemed inconsistent with long wait times and cold food being served. The restaurant was noted to need improvements in cleanliness and overall experience. However, some diners appreciated the authentic Filipino flavors and friendly service, making it a worthwhile option for those seeking comfort food and desserts. Overall, reviews suggest that Max's Restaurant has potential but may need to address service issues and food quality to compete with other options.
The food was awesome BUT the protocols set in place are the best I’ve seen in the city. We felt so safe and proud of then as a Filipino it shows that the business and staff really care about the wellbeing of the community and their team. Great job guys
At one point, no servers on site, we ended up putting our used plates and utensils on the other table, to clear some space. Table for was so tight, elbow to elbow
I heard a lot about their chicken, initially I thought it was pretty good. As ate I found it a bit dry, and tasteless. My wife dish was quite good, BBQ beef keebob. Will most likely try other dishes at this restaurant in the future
It was my first experience of having Filipino food. The food was good, and also server was so kind to us
I did not find most of the dishes to be of good quality or good taste except for the Lumpia, roast pork and the Kare Kare. Large size Halo Halo was overpriced at and mostly filled with crushed ice. Adobo was extremely salty. Fried chicken their signature dish was overcooked and meat was dry. Dishes were pricey for the quality. Restaurant is in need of improvements and cleanliness. Service needs work and consistency. There are too many better options elsewhere and I will not visit here again
