What Alfonso Anderson likes about Baru Latino:
Had a great experience! Dined Solo at the bar and could watch the cook. They were also very nice and explained the dishes and flavors. Had the Sancochito and empanadas and both were phenomenal. A new, delicious selection of traditional Criollo dresses. The caramel flan was an excellent finish to eat. Great service. View all feedback. What Willow Krajcik doesn't like about Baru Latino:
We visited this restaurant a few years ago and had an excellent meal, but based on last night the place has really gone downhill. We ordered 5 dishes; some were alright and others really substandard. The ceviche was good, but not exceptional, and the pork taco was reasonable. The fish taco was poor - my wife said it looked like stir fried tinned tuna. Service was excellent; too bad the food just didn't merit it. View all feedback.

read moreBaru Latino has garnered a mix of reviews over the years, with some diners experiencing a decline in food quality while others still rave about the exceptional dishes. The ceviche seems to be a standout favorite, but other menu items have been hit or miss. The service is consistently praised, with attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Some diners have found the food to be bland and in need of extra seasoning, while others have thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of Latin American cuisine. Overall, Baru Latino seems to offer a unique dining experience that may vary depending on individual preferences.
