I come here frequently for the salmon eggs Benedict and an Americano. Both are constantly well prepared. The decor is Italian 70s with an old Vespa and some amusing old pictures, which gives the place an atmosphere for good coffee. The place is self service but you get a number to put on your table and they bring your food when it's ready. Selection of newspapers, motivated staff. View all feedback.
Who can resist the cafe art. And it's right by the art gallery! Just go, I give you permission.
Coffee is still inconsistent, today's was quite good and earlier this week it was terrible.
Stopped in here because it's across the screen from the art gallery and since I was early, I got a coffee.
My wife and I were visiting family in the Vancouver area. I was cruising down Hastings Street with by wife and brother-in-law when we all had a craving for a cup of coffee. We stopped in. I ordered a simple cup of coffee. It was excellent! I don't know what kind of beans they were but the coffee was full bodied and bright with a toasty undertone. Delicious!I stopped at their location on Pender a couple days later and was equally impressed. I can hardly wait for my next visit to Vancouver.
Visited this place while on vacation in Vancouver. The food is pretty basic coffee shop pastries, etc. but still good. The latte art is really pretty though! Made my day
