Faculty is a fun, on-trend room with communal seating and a festive atmosphere. Go if you like tasting beer, people watching and light snacks. Very light snacks. It's more about the beer than the pretzel or charcuterie. In the summer months, once a week you can get your bike tuned up outside, while you sip your brew inside. It's a boisterous, cheerful, playful little place. Go and see for yourself! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Faculty Brewing Co:
A pretty new brewery in East Van with a lot of promise. The beers were just average but with time I have no doubts the quality will go up. The facility is really nice, clean lines, it has that industrial look to it which reminded us of Portland Breweries. View all feedback.

This brew pub was founded by a couple with many years experience in the food industry. Their concept is to share their experince, expertise and recipes. What a recipe for success. The beers were delicious, the atmosphere very friendly ( well, it was St. Patrick's day) and the design of the pub modern and inviting. Draws a smart young urban crowd.Highly recommended BUT I suggest they add some decent pub snacks.

We're lucky to live in a brewery hotspot near Main, but this place is my favourite (33 acres comes a close 2nd).The beer is great. The overall selection is huge, but they rotate the taps frequently, so usually 4-5 beers are on offer at a time. You can get flights of 4 beers which is perfect if you can't choose. Theres some pub snacks (cheese, sausages, nachos etc) but on the weekends they often have a food truck outside. The atmosphere and staff are great, it's always a buzzing place to go, but it is popular and seating limited, so if it's a Friday/Saturday night or a sunny weekend, you're likely to queue - but turnover is fast. (I would love to see the tap room expand, and maybe even outdoor seating if they do.)I've found their beer on sale in one or two other places, but it tastes much better fresh from the tap room. They also do growler refils. I would definitely recommend this place, I would even suggest a brewery pub crawl to all the places nearby.
Small and cute little spot. Limited selection on tap, but what they do have is great. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Absolutely worth checking out for a few pints. Will be returning sometime soon.
