Contribute FeedbackFraser Court Seafood Restaurant offers a wide selection of dim sum items at affordable prices, making it a popular choice for many diners. While some customers find the food to be good but not exceptional, others praise dishes such as the deep-fried squid and steamed shrimp dumplings. The restaurant is known for being spacious and accommodating for large family gatherings, with ample parking available. However, there are mixed reviews about the service, with some customers experiencing unfriendly servers. Despite some negative feedback, Fraser Court Seafood Restaurant remains a solid option for those looking for authentic Chinese cuisine or dim sum in Vancouver.
We were at fraser court for dimming. this is the first time for us and we were pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the dimsum that was offered. the owner, jack, was very pleasant. we'll go back there soon and try. her dinner menu with our friends.
Sent to a group of Chinese New Year dinners. there were 19 tables. the restaurant has put the petition for our group so that we can have karaoke and dancing privately. the food was excellent and the part was great. the seafood was very fresh. you. could say that the restaurant has not gone cheap to the quality. we also had karaoke and dance from 3:30 to 10 clock, plus a fantastic meal. each screamed a bargain." the restaurant also installed a gigantic tw (same size as the stage, floor to deck.) I would say that is the best place to host a large group dinner. the manager was very nice and easy to talk. Of course, it is the Chinese New Year, a red envelope of bliss money is a must.
I made a reservation for dimsum. a tour group without reservation came to pick up all the tables that had to wait for 2 hours with a reservation. the answer of the manager in chinese was variety on the effect that I would not care about the because they came in money.
We went to dinner as a family to celebrate my man's birthday. I choose this place as I was there a few years ago on a banquet and the rest of my family had never been here. the restaurant looks somewhat worn out....The distance is pretty ok and the service was good. I was surprised that we were the fourth table next to the banquet and it was a Saturday night! the dishes we ordered were ok to less ok in taste, but extremely large portion for the price we pay, compared to other Chinese seafood restaurants. I would say to all of us who ordered, we all like the lobster dish the best. the crab was good, but the rice wasn't really. it had only ingwer in the rice and it could be better. everything in all our opinion is that the cook is not really fry chef good.
I wish they had more dumpling variety, but all in all, the dim sum is pretty standard fare. Ate here on a Thursday morning and it was easy to get seats. Spent about $55 incl tax and tip for 8 dishes. Went overboard...lol. With a...lot of other favourite places in Vancouver already shut down, the Fraser court seafood restaurant is a decent addition to your dim sum rotation.
