Look, we love the whole Vancouver food scene. love it. But this place is okay at best. We made reservations a couple of weeks ago and were very looking forward to dinner. We arrived and were promptly seated. The service was very professional throughout the whole night. The real problem is that the food really isn't that good. We enjoy our time at kissa tanto. eating is incredible (this truffle omelet! and the service is always top regal. we loved the visit with daniel and got his recommendations for exactly what we need to experience on the menu. we were there with family from the city and they were impressed by the vancouver food scene. will be back soon.
Beautiful decoration, our waiter was knowledgeable, eating was good quality, and the omelette is one must try.
Love the drinks especially ‘My Private Tokyo’. The Italian-Japanese fusion made the dishes more interesting and unique. Well done!
Eating was quite good, but definitiv not worth the money and do not book a table for more than 4 people. they said that their biggest table is for 6, so we booked the table for 6 but they let us press in a round table, where all our legs were pressed together and pressed against each other. has not felt like a Michelin experience at all.
Amazing culinary experience and the journey and the cost worth. I only wish that the volume was lower so that my partner could hear me without having to think about it.
